On September 24th, Jeremy Graves and Martyn Licchelli returned to bring you fifth edition of The Dropkick Radio Wrestling Show Live~! Unfortunately, the show was hit with some major technical issues that ended the broadcast early. But, we didn’t stop the show, in fact, despite the fact we extended the length of the show to two and half hours… we still managed to overrun! So you get the complete show, including what wasn’t able to be broadcast!
On this weeks show, we look back at TNA’s No Surrender PPV along with last weeks episodes of TNA Impact! and WWE Smackdown, plus this weeks Monday Night Raw and ECW! But that’s not all, we discuss lots of news, talk lots of topics including what possible directions certain wrestlers can go, the Retro Break returns and, we interact with the great listeners of Dropkick Radio through the chat room and phone calls which includes 3 DKR listeners on the air at the same time!
As the old saying goes ‘Who Knows What Could Happen, When It’s Live!’. (And in the case of part of this weeks show, Live… To Tape!)
The archive of DKR Live #5 is available to listen/download right now, here at www.DropkickRadio.com
We’ll be back next week after having spoke to the one and only Jim Cornette on Thursday 1st October at 9pm GMT / 4 EST
Enjoy

[The following was posted at 11.45pm GMT on Thursday 24th September]
Jeremy Graves >
I just want to take this oppotunity to say thankyou to everyone who tuned in Live tonight (24th September) to DKR Live 5.
Although the broadcast was halted by a technical problem that was completely beyond our control and ultimately ended the show early, thank you to everyone for your continued support and interacting with us. And also thank you to those who called in during the final few minutes of the show after we forced off air for this.
Despite the technical problems, the entire show was recorded (including the parts that weren’t broadcast) and it will be available to listen/download tomorrow(Friday 25th September) as soon as possible. (Hopefully before midday if all goes well, but no promises.)
We’ll be back next week (Thursday 1st October) with our sixth live show at 9pm GMT / 4pm EST.
Once again thank you, and have a good night.

Dropkick Radio has returned with a special Xtra show where we interview a very controversial figure in the world of UK wrestling, Steven Gauntley.
In just under 2 hours, we go right back to the beginning of how Steven came up with the idea of creating 1 Pro Wrestling (1PW) and openly admits how he was learning on the job from day 1. We also go into great detail about the shutdown of 1PW in January 2007 where we find out just how much he tried to keep company alive.
Also covered is how 1PW returned just a few months later after Janurary 2007 and what ultimately led him to leaving the promotion he founded for good, how the creation of his new venture Pro Wrestling 101 (PW101) came to be and his thoughts on the debut show for PW101 that took place this past weekend.
Steven Gauntley is a man who brings up many feelings in UK wrestling because of lots of unfortunate circumstances that happened during his time being involved in 1PW. But regardless of what you think of the man, if you’ve wanted to know right from the horses mouth what he has to say about all the major circumstances he’s faced, there’s no other interview that has gone into as much detail as this!
And it’s available to listen/download right here, at www.DropkickRadio.com
NOTE - There is some strong language used.

On September 17th, The Dropkick Radio Wrestling Show with Jeremy Graves & Martyn Licchelli came to you across the internet airwaves for the 4th time to bring a packed (and slightly different than usual) edition of show!
On this weeks show, Jeremy and Martyn looked back at last weeks editions of TNA Impact! and Friday Night Smackdown, plus the WWE Breaking Point PPV and the ‘post PPV editions’ of Monday Night Raw & ECW!
But that’s not all! We were joined Live, by one half of the IWGP Tag Team Champions as part of the British Invasion in TNA Wrestling, Nick ‘Brutus Magnus’ Aldis, to discuss a variety of topics including how the British Invasion came about, his thoughts on becoming the IWGP Tag Champions and the controversy that followed and much more which includes answering questions submitted by our listeners! Who’s know what questions could come up when it’s Live!
If that wasn’t enough, we (remember to) preview TNA No Surrender PPV which takes place this weekend and, we interact with the great listeners of Dropkick Radio through the chat room, and phone calls!
As mentioned, it’s a slightly different format than usual which wasn’t helped by a few technical problems along way. But it’s an extra long edition of DKR for you this week as the show had a special start time of half an hour earlier than usual!
We’ll be back next Thursday (25th September) at the usual time of 9pm GMT with another packed show!
Remember, you can send your thoughts, comments and emails to DropkickRadio@hotmail.com
NOTE - There is strong language used during this show.

On Thursday 10th September 2009, Dropkick Radio Live~! returned for it’s third installment of Live wrestling discussion, and what a show it was.
Jeremy Graves and Martyn Licchelli looked back (in a revamped format,) at last weeks editions of TNA Impact! and WWE Smackdown, plus this past weeks editions of WWE Raw and ECW. There’s also discussion on lots of news including Angelina Love being released by TNA, Nigel McGuinness heading to the WWE and ‘Hulkamania’ running wild down under!
But that’s not all. We reveal the winner of our ‘Macho Madness…’ DVD competition, take some phone calls, and we debut a new weekly segment to the show ‘The Retro Break’, where this week the topic of discussion is… wrestling hairstyles~!
And, if that wasn’t enough, we had a surprise for everyone, as about an hour before the show went Live, we interviewed Nigel McGuinness as he was heading to the ROH TV taping in Philadelphia that same day! He gave us the latest news in regard to where things stand with himself & WWE, and more!
Until Next Thursday night, take care everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
